Following a successful career in the public sector, Rob joined ICL (Fujitsu) in the mid-90s as Director of Operations for a newly-formed PFI division – a role which saw him secure major government contracts worth over £10bn during his three-year tenure. In 1999, Rob co-founded a start-up major programme delivery company which, under his leadership as CEO, grew from a zero-turnover business to a £45m business in just seven years. During this time Rob was Programme Director of some of the largest IT programmes in Europe. In 2006, Rob sold the business to BT and remained as Global Services Vice President Major Programmes for two years. Now semi-retired, Rob acts in a Board level advisory capacity for Protecture as well as a number of other businesses across the IT sector.
